PROJECT LIGHT AND THE EVACUATION OF 54 UKRAINIAN ORPHANS TO THE UK

PROJECT LIGHT AND THE EVACUATION OF 54 UKRAINIAN ORPHANS TO THE UK

We were honoured to be brought on board to help assist a number of humanitarian charities on a mission to bring 61 Ukrainian refugees to the UK, including 54 children, dubbed ‘Project light’.

In what can only be described as a logistical slog full of red tape and challenges, our remit for the press element included ongoing stakeholder management, providing counsel as the goalposts continued to move, drafting press releases and ongoing liaison with the world’s media, preparing statements and mapping out crisis contingencies.

The result? As well as seeing the refugees land safely in the UK, from a PR perspective we delivered over 277 pieces of earned media coverage21 nationals and nine broadcast pieces of coverage.
