Getting G7 leaders to ‘walk the walk’ for Allbirds

Carbis Bay in Cornwall was the location for the 47th G7 summit in June 2021, which hosted leaders from the seven G7 countries.

With Allbirds dedicated to the carbon neutral mission, we wanted to shine a light on the importance of carbon emissions and get the G7 to sit up and take action.

So, we created two giant footprints in the sand on the Cornish beach, showcasing the discrepancy between the average G7 carbon footprint and the rest of the world – encouraging them to walk the walk themselves.

The campaign resulted in over 57 pieces of coverage including the likes of Forbes and The Sun and a social engagement rate of 1.5%.
