We created London’s first-ever ‘ride-thru’ bakery designed to help Limers beat the notorious bakery queues and get their hands on the latest Instagrammable treat in style. With exclusive artworks by the champion of meme culture, Real Housewives of Clapton, artisan coffee and limited-edition, lime-flavoured pastries from one of London’s hottest bakeries, Pophams, the ‘Lime-thru Bakery’ tapped heavily into East London culture, which resonated with Lime’s loyal fan base.
Lime asked us to supercharge brand love, advocacy & cultural relevance for the e-bike brand, and after identifying Londoners’ mutual love of biking and bakeries which boomed this summer, we created the ‘Lime-thru Bakery’. Designed to offer a unique way for people to beat the queues, customers could cycle up to a custom service hatch and collect a complimentary coffee ‘to-go’ along with their sweet treat and a free 15 minute Lime ride to get them home, or park their bike up inside the bakery and grab a seat while admiring meme artworks and the Lime-inspired decor.
