During the pandemic, increased demand for parking near hospitals added more pressure to the already burdened NHS staff. Parking app JustPark wanted to help; so we launched a public appeal encouraging people to list their spaces for free, resulting in over 20,000 spaces near hospitals being added to the app across the country thanks to the campaign which we did as part of our Ready To Help initiative.
Parking app JustPark’s mantra is to make parking easy. So when stories of parking shortages for NHS staff hit the news at the start of the Pandemic, they knew their app could help – but they needed to get the word out there.
So, we launched a public appeal to encourage those living near a hospital to list their space for free on a dedicated appeal page.
Over the course of the campaign:
20,000 spaces were listed for more than 450 hospitals
800 health workers benefiting from the public appeal
