INCREASING VOTER TURNOUT FOR THE ELECTION WITH JUSTPARK


JustPark is different, it’s a problem solver, a bit like an AirBnB for driveways… with the first winter general election since 1923, it seemed like the perfect time to solve another problem…

JustPark wanted to raise awareness for both drivers and space owners so launched a one-day election deal - 30mins free parking on December 12th – ensuring that there was one less barrier in the way of voters’ ability to vote.

To front the campaign, we enlisted the help of former home secretary Rt Hon. Alan Johnson and it went from there. 

During the activity, we generated over 152 million online impressions, with 75% increase in mentions on the day. Saw a 22% increase in post engagement, with LBC’s James O’Brien and BBC Brexitcast’s Dino Sofos promoting the campaign, which contributed to an overall influencer impression of over 1 million.
